Background
Kebridahar TVET college was established in 2006 E.C. by Somali regional state Technical, vocational education and training bureau as Kebridahar TVET College, for the first time the teaching learning process started by admitting few students in short term training in different occupations furniture making, GMFA, Construction, ICT.
On 2007 E.C. the college was received regular trainees from level one up to level four. KTVETC provides training for trainees within ten occupations and ten specializations with new TVET system ( 70% Practical and 30% Theory). Similarly the college gives short term training and skill gap training to MSEs, pastoral and Agro-pastoral communities around Korahey Zone.
The college also gives an extension training program, Kebridahar Technical, Vocational Education and Training College is among the regional colleges implemented the new EOS and Level based assessment.
KTVETC lies in geographically the center between Nogob zone ,Shabeele zone , Dolo zone and Jarar Zone and strategically is near the border between ETHIOPIA AND SOMALIA .
Generally , kebridahar TVET is one of regional tvet colleges , which stands to part take different tasks and training for job creation Role.

Objective of KTVETC
The over all objective of KTVETC is to create competent, adaptable and innovative work force in Somali region as well as in Ethiopia for contributing to poverty reduction and socio-economic development through facilitating demand driven, high quality technician and vocational education and training directly or indirectly to relevant to all sector of the economy at all level and to the people.
