Background

   Kebridahar PTC college was established in 2006 E.C. by Somali regional state Polytechnic,  bureau as Kebridahar PTC College, for the first time the teaching learning process started by admitting few students in short term training in different occupations furniture making, GMFA, Construction, ICT.

On 2007 E.C. the college was received regular trainees from level one up to level four.  KPTC provides training for trainees within ten occupations and ten specializations with new KOTC system ( 70% Practical and 30% Theory). Similarly the college gives short term training and skill gap training to MSEs, pastoral and Agro-pastoral communities around Korahey Zone.

   The college also gives an extension training program, Kebridahar Polytechnic College  is among the  regional colleges implemented the new EOS and Level based assessment. 

KPTC lies in geographically the  center  between  Nogob zone ,Shabeele zone , Dolo zone  and Jarar  Zone and  strategically is near  the border between Ethiopia and Somalia.

Generally , kebridahar PTC is one of regional PTC  colleges , which  stands to part take different tasks  and training for job creation Role.
